DETAILS
Impact Meals mark Safe House Outreach's initial step in building relationships with their neighbors experiencing homelessness on the streets of downtown Atlanta. Currently, serving 250-300 people every weeknight, volunteer teams get to share Christ-like, unconditional love and service by sponsoring, preparing and serving the Impact Meal. Plus you'll get to collaborate with the SafeHouse staff to engage in relational, encouraging conversations with their guests.
As an Impact Meal sponsor, your role involves donating the food and supplies, preparing and plating the meals, serving the guests, assisting with check-in and seating and clean up.
It promises to be an enriching evening of fellowship, service, and an opportunity to love your neighbor by being FORE Your Neighbor! Plus you can TEE it up together if any golf can be planned for that afternoon or evening.
DONATION / FUNDRAISING GOALS
There is no donation required to serve but if you'd like to support the cost of food and supplies, we typically spend about $1,000. Generous donors before you have paved the way for us to serve this meal, so if you'd like to pay it forward for the next group, we'd be grateful for any amount you can give.
